Portsmouth, NH; January 15, 2020 – Enventure has been awarded a contract to develop a comprehensive strategy to optimize MRO inventory and conduct data quality exercises followed by implementing a data governance mechanism for a US-based largest preventative maintenance and repair company specializing in the F&B industry. The client is famous for providing skilled maintenance and repair, technical resources for convenience store chains, restaurant groups, and independent operators in the food industry. They also are one of the largest commercial foodservice equipment repair and maintenance service providers in North America. The multi-year contract starts with a complete Data Audit on their ERP and CMMS/EAM Systems to analyze data gaps. As part of the scope, Enventure will develop an MRO data modeling framework and implement strict data rules to deliver the utmost data quality and control on MRO Inventory. The major functions benefitted by this activity are Plant Operations and Maintenance, Production and Scheduling, Inventory, and Advanced Supply Chain Planning. Enventure found lot of inconsistencies in the MRO inventory data such as incorrect manufacturer name/part number and insufficient descriptions. Due to such inaccurate data, the number of duplicate / obsolescence / non-moving materials increased day by day resulting in high inventory costs, wrong procurement and raising maverick purchases. “Today, all organizations strive to achieve cost efficiency, thereby increasing profitability. Our solutions help attain sustainability in the entire supply chain process by improving performance across plant operations. With this engagement, we expect to deliver actionable visibility of the entire MRO inventory and procurement lifecycle.” Says CK Bharathan – Head of MRO Supply Chain Solutions, Enventure.
