The European Chemical Agency completed the public consultation for the two potential SVHCs on 16 April 2015. If both proposed substances are identified as SVHCs then they will be included in the CL, which will then have 163 SVHCs.
Basis the member states finding of the two substances possessing ‘toxic for reproduction’ and ‘very persistent & very bio-accumulative’ properties, the proposal has been shared with ECHA. European commission will now be considering the comments from public consultation before making the decision to add them in the CL, scheduled to release this June.
