Project Scheduler

Qualifications: Any Graduate
Experience: 5-8 yrs.
  • Knowledge of project cost management principles and implementation
  • Strong skills in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Suite
  • Advanced, project financial forecast modeling | Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Demonstrated Primavera (6+) modeling analytics
  • Established ability to process and comprehend project design/phase requirements, schedule impacts, client impacts, and to make recommendations about project requirements to ensure estimate, schedule, and cost metrics meet all the design criteria
  • Demonstrated ability with the preparation of project management reports on schedule baseline /budget, resource loading man-hours, and risk assessments for assigned projects
  • Excellent communication skills as there is frequent interaction with internal staff, vendors, and clients
  • Knowledge of current principles and workflow of engineering and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects
Job Description:
  • Supports the Project Manager in the planning of a project’s key analytical tools – schedules, analysis, risk assessment, and reporting
  • Scheduling key activities, float management, milestones, timely updates, construction sequencing, and analysis and resolution of risks
  • To create sketches and drawings that support the project team during the design process, think creatively and critically
  • Setup and maintenance of baseline, budgetary models provide you with the ability to analyze a project’s current timeline and to assess its potential performance.
  • Analyzes, reviews, aligns, reconciles, and evaluates the key project analytical tools (Schedule, Cost Model, Estimate) to ensure they convey a coherent message
  • Prepare detailed baseline schedules, progress curves, milestone lists, and resource profiles
  • Assists / leads the change management process, assesses and reports on duration trends, risks and the status of projects
  • Analyze and report deviations from schedules, critical paths, and schedule constraints
  • Lead interactive planning sessions in conjunction with key disciplines and vendors
  • Demonstrates awareness and commitment toward health, safety, and environmental issues, and addresses those issues in order to ensure zero incidents of harm to employees, clients, and contractors, as well as zero incidents of environmental contamination
